Frequently Asked Questions

If your question is not covered below, reach out through the contact channels in the footer — we answer in the order messages arrive.

YoMix is a privacy-focused Bitcoin mixing service. Its single job is to cut the on-chain link between the coins you deposit and the coins you receive back, so that passive observers and chain-analysis tools cannot correlate your new activity with your history.

The Bitcoin ledger is public forever. The moment one of your addresses is tied to your identity — by a KYC exchange, a screenshot, a donation page — every transaction that wallet touches becomes traceable. A mixer lets you start a fresh financial identity without moving to a different currency.

No. Bitcoin is pseudonymous at best. Each transaction sits in a public database, and anyone can follow the flow of funds through it. Private-key ownership is what is secret — the payment history attached to an address is not.

The minimum deposit per order is 0.001 BTC plus 0.00004416 BTC per payout address. There is no hard cap on the high end: our pool automatically sources larger amounts, and for substantial orders we guarantee the payout lands within 48 hours.

Deposits below the minimum cannot be mixed. You can recover them minus the on-chain miner fee by contacting support with your order ID and letter of guarantee.

Every mainstream format: legacy (1...), P2SH (3...), SegWit (bc1q...) and Taproot (bc1p...). You can mix across formats freely.

It depends on the jurisdiction. In most countries the act of mixing is legal, but specific thresholds and reporting rules may apply. We ask you to review your local regulations and our terms of use before placing an order — you are responsible for compliance.

Yes. A hidden-service mirror is available for every session. We recommend using it whenever possible — it hides both your IP and the fact that you are interacting with the site at all.

Yes. Any amount you send to the deposit address before the order expires is queued and mixed together. You can split a large payment into several transactions without losing the link to your payout addresses.

Each completed order issues a short code. Passing that code with future orders tells our pool to avoid reusing any of the coins it previously gave you — even accidentally. It is the single most important tool for preserving long-term unlinkability.

Without a delay, payouts leave the pool within a few confirmations. You can schedule a delay of up to 72 hours per address. For very large amounts we guarantee delivery inside 48 hours, but in practice most orders settle far sooner.

None. All three terms describe the same category of service. We prefer “mixer” because it is less loaded, but the technology is identical.

A signed text document with all of your order details — deposit address, payout addresses, fees and a cryptographic signature. It is the only thing that proves an order existed after the data itself has been purged. Download it before sending funds.

Only what is strictly required to process the order for its lifetime. After the order retention window closes, the row is deleted. We do not back it up, we do not archive it, we do not export it anywhere.

Do not resend coins. Contact support with the letter of guarantee attached — that gives us everything we need to investigate, even after the internal record has expired.

Most Bitcoin wallets can verify a signed message. Paste the signature block from the letter of guarantee and the signing address from the footer. If the wallet reports a valid match, the letter is authentic.

No third parties, no analytics vendors, no ad networks. The backend runs on a single private server with no external data pipes. What happens on YoMix stops at YoMix.

Orders below the minimum can be refunded to the deposit address on request, minus the on-chain fee. Orders that were mixed successfully cannot be reversed — the whole point of the service is that the coins are no longer linked to the input.

Terms of use

By creating an order on YoMix you confirm that the coins you deposit are yours to mix and that mixing is legal in your jurisdiction. YoMix is a technical tool — not a financial advisor, not a compliance service. The operator is not responsible for how mixed coins are used after delivery.

Every order has a three-day retention window. After that window closes, all order data is removed permanently. The letter of guarantee is the only record you keep of the transaction, so download it before sending funds.

We reserve the right to refuse service to any deposit that looks like a clear attempt at network abuse (dust, double-sends, repeat probing, stolen-funds reports) and to cancel an order with a full refund to the deposit address minus the on-chain fee.

Still have a question?

Start the flow — most of the remaining details become obvious the moment you open the order form.
